Mix and match sizes, shapes, textures, colors, and mediums to create a bold and beautiful hand-painted and collaged mixed media scrapbook. As you experiment with color, each page will be immediately transformed into mini-masterpieces individually colored and designed by you. You will explore new techniques for using watercolor crayons, layering and collage for acrylic album pages, as well as, paint and doodling tips for taking your creative scrapbooking to the next level.

Nothing makes me happier than a scrapbook bursting at the seams with creative bits of paper, fabrics, ribbons and photos...that is unless it incorporates cardboard, stamping, acrylic and transparencies too! This album is an over the top mixed-media experience blending traditional scrapbooking products in uncoventional ways that results in a collected scrapbook of memories that is artistic, personal and rich with vibrant color.

Take the next step in fabric scrapbooking and create an album that blends transparencies with fabric pages that pop with texture and dimension as we work with my new line of iron-on designs, quilted sentiments and shapes. Learn techniques for applying concepts to both fabric and paper as well as distressing canvas using inks and watercolors.

Fabric Scrapbooking is an exploration in melding the best of the paper world with the best of the fabric world to create one of the most outstandingly visual and completely tactile memory album experiences. Filled with dozens of techniques and applications for using my new Fabric scrapbooking line just released with Prima, in this workshop, you will create this album using the entire line of products at your fingertips. And best of all, NO SEWING NECESSARY! but be sure and bring an apron because we are going to have some messy and creative FUN!
6pm-9pm: Simply Irrestistable

Robert palmer said it best, but beyond the dancing girls in the background and the 1980’s reference, this class is all about RESIST techniques! You will learn and design a sampler style visual handbook as you create and experiment with 10 distinctly different resist techniques, using paints, wax, inks, glues, matte medium, crackles and UTEE. Learn how and when to use the products you already have in your scrap supplies at home to create additional layers of dimension and texture to your scrapbooking, cardmaking, and artistic style. Using your newly created sampler handbook as your guide, the class culminates with the creation of a one of a kind and unique art piece that you create applying the techniques learned in the workshop.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this opportunity to all of you. Donna Downey is known to be a phenomenal teacher and we are excited that she will be joining us!

The Holidays are coming in full speed and we have many reasons to celebrate! We are grateful to our Lord, Jesus, for the many blessings He has bestowed upon us, and we are grateful to all of you that faithfully come to our store and support us. So, as you may have already heard, we have decided to give back with a Double Dipping Auction.
If you have not heard of it, let me explain to you a bit about what it is. For every dollar that you (our faithful and loving customers) spend between November 27th through December 17th, 2009, you will receive a "dollar" back to be used in an auction on December 17th during our Annual Christmas Party that will begin at 6pm! In other words, we are giving the money you spent back so that you can purchase some more for "FREE"! WOOHOO!!
There are many vendors that have already confimed their sponsorship. We have Bazzill, Sports Solutions, My Little Shoebox, amongst many others. Besides, we also have gifts for those in your family that might not be as excited about scrapbooking as you are.
